Terms & Conditions
Last updated: — (to be set in the final version)
TEMPLATE / DRAFT — this text is a starting point and is not legal advice. To be finalised with a lawyer and accountant before launch.
1. Who we are
The FreshTurn service is provided by [COMPANY NAME], tax number [NIF], with registered office at [ADDRESS]. These terms govern use of the site and the engagement of the services.
2. The service
FreshTurn coordinates recurring home cleaning and short-term rental turnover cleaning. On-site work is carried out by independent cleaning contractors, selected and coordinated by FreshTurn, which is accountable to the client for the service standard.
3. Requests and quotes
The site form is a quote request, not a booking. A service is only engaged once FreshTurn confirms it in writing with the agreed scope, date and price.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are communicated before confirmation and include VAT at the legal rate in force. Payment is made after the service, by the agreed means. The figures shown on the site are illustrative examples until the final price list is published.
5. Rescheduling and cancellations
Rescheduling and cancellations notified by 6 p.m. the day before are free of charge. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a [%] fee, because the cleaner's slot is held. [Review specific conditions for AL.]
6. Property access
The client is responsible for ensuring access to the property within the agreed time window. Access instructions and means (keys, codes) are treated confidentially and used only to deliver the service.
7. Satisfaction guarantee
If the service does not meet the agreed standard, the client should report it within 24 hours. FreshTurn will redo the part that was missed, at no additional cost, as soon as possible.
8. Liability
FreshTurn holds public liability insurance for the services provided. Liability is limited to direct damage demonstrably caused during the service, under the law and the policy. [Clause to be detailed with the insurance broker and lawyer.]
9. Data protection
The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
Portuguese law applies. For consumer disputes, the client may turn to the competent alternative dispute resolution bodies. [Name the relevant ADR body for the area before launch.]
